Jury announces finalists

This Tuesday evening, the jury of III BNDES International Piano Competition announced the three finalists. After the semi-final rounds happened in the morning and afternoon, the pianists selected were: Mikhail Berestnev (Russia), Nino Bakradze (Georgia) and Tamila Salimdjanova (Uzbekistan).
The three finalists will perform with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Lígia Amadio, next Saturday (December, 8th) at 5 pm at Theatro Municipal. Berestnev will perform Prokofiev Concerto N. 3, Nino Bakradze will play Beethoven Concerto N. 4 and Tamila Salimdjanova Liszt Concerto N. 1. The admission to the concert is free and the tickets are available at the Theatro Municipal box office at 4 pm.
